BLUSOURCE LAUNCHES ITS SUPPORT OF NSPCC
BUSINESS COMMUNITY SAYS CHEERS AS BLUSOURCE LAUNCHES ITS SUPPORT OF NSPCC
Nottingham-based search and selection consultancy, Blusource Professional Services Ltd has chosen the NSPCC as the companys charity benefactor for the year and was pleased to support the East Midlands NSPCC Childs Voice Appeal earlier this month.
Along with three other local businesses, Blusource co-sponsored a wine tasting event held at Weavers Wines in the city. Approximately 30 delegates were greeted with a champagne reception before enjoying an exclusive tour around the restored Georgian townhouse sampling red, white and rose wines from across the globe.
The NSPCC Childs Voice Appeal is a national strategy designed to raise 50m in the next three years to enable the NSPCC to expand its helplines so vulnerable children and young people can talk to volunteer counsellors. The East Midlands Committee is aiming to generate 3.3m through a variety of fundraising events.
Claire Dickerson, an associate at Blusources legal division, currently sits on the East Midlands Childs Voice Committee and has recently been accepted to train as a volunteer counsellor. Claire said: Co-sponsoring the wine tasting event ensured we could increase awareness within the wider business community as well as providing an entertaining evening for a worthwhile cause.
