Technical and commercial recruitment specialist, First Point Group Ltd is celebrating after being awarded a Queens Award for Enterprise in the International Category.
Highlighted for its commercial success and ongoing work in overseas markets, First Point Group has grown rapidly since it began in 2004. The company now operates across many countries around the world and works with top multi-national companies such as Ericsson and Nokia Siemens Networks, handling all their recruitment and logistics needs when placing contract ex-pat Telecom Engineers to all parts of the world.
Alistair Rynish, director from First Point Group, said: To be presented with a Queens Award is a real testament to the team.
Thanks to the recent developments in technology, working across the globe is a reality for many more companies. When businesses are looking to recruit abroad, it can prove to be a challenge with the various laws and regulations - however, thanks to our teams here and overseas we are able to make the process as efficient and quick as possible - something that has helped us to carve out a unique place in a competitive market.
Alistair puts the companys success down to the support it has received from various organisations such as the businesses finance provider, the Recruitment Finance Division of Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance. The bank has been working with the company since 2004 to provide a flexible and bespoke finance offering that quickly responds to the organisations needs.
Paul Saunders, director of the Recruitment Finance Division of Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance, said: It is so rewarding to see a company like First Point Group recognised in this way. The financial implications of working across continents and currencies can be difficult, but by working closely together, we have been able to develop a package that has facilitated and bolstered the companys impressive growth.
The award was presented by the Queens representative in Westminster, Brigadier Paul Orchard-Lisle.
