HAYS USES SMS MESSAGING
HAYS USES SMS MESSAGING TO NOTIFY TEMPS OF PAYMENT
Hays, the UKs leading specialist recruitment company, has introduced an SMS pay notification service for all temps paid directly through Hays. The service will notify workers by text when they have been paid, informing them when the payment is released. UK temps who are paid directly by Hays will be able to opt in or out of the service and the text messages then received are free of charge.
The SMS pay notification service is expected to reduce the number of enquiry calls temps need to make, providing them with a much more efficient method of payment notification and alleviating the unnecessary costs of making such phone calls.
Matt Hobden, Project Manager of the SMS initiative at Hays, says: Rather than a temp having to call us to check that their payment is going through, they will now be notified by text message, making it more cost effective for them and more time efficient for us. In cutting down the numbers of calls coming through to the service centre, call handlers will be freed up to deal with other queries.
The SMS pay notification service has been rolled out across the UK.
