HUNTRESS GROUP DEFIES TRADE DOWNTURN

In spite of a very difficult market, Huntress continues to deliver strong results, with its first six months of 2009 reflecting healthy profits in each of its trading divisions.

Gary Laurence, founder of Huntress Group commented "Anyone in recruitment can generate growth in a buoyant market. The quality of a company is only really tested and measured in a tough economic environment. Of course we are pleased with our performance but cannot afford to be complacent.
Through continual change and determination we are confident in building on these results".

Eighteen months ago, Nomura, the Blue chip Japanese Bank, took a majority
stake in Huntress through their Private Equity arm. Andrew Healey, Head of
Nomura Private Equity commented "It is to the company's credit that Huntress has been able to outperform much of the market and maintain a profitable business. Nomura remains confident in Huntress' ability to beat its near term forecasts and deliver the company's strategic plans including expansion opportunities".

Star Quality

Huntress and Nomura are both delighted to announce that Diane Bradbury will be joining Huntress with immediate effect as the new Director of Huntress
Commercial. Diane has a proven track record of success in recruitment over
25 years, both as COO of Adecco (250m turnover and c150 offices) and latterly as MD of Spring Personnel. Diane is a high profile industry executive with strong corporate and entrepreneurial skills. Both Huntress management and Nomura are excited about Diane's appointment and are looking forward to her leading Huntress to further success.
