ATA Goes On The Defence!
ATA Goes On The Defence!
ATA Recruitment, one of the UKs leading recruitment companies specialising in the manufacturing, engineering, technical sales and energy sectors, has enhanced its range of services by launching a new defence and aerospace division.
ATA Defence and Aerospace supplies permanent and contract staff to the defence, aerospace and associated industry sectors.
Within the defence sector ATA is working with a wide range of companies that support the MoD, other NATO allies in the provision of equipment for use in the military arena. These firms require highly skilled staff to drive their research and development projects, enabling them to match their solutions to the changing needs of the international armed forces.
Within the Aerospace Industry, ATA has built up a strong client base, providing technical recruitment solutions within design, development, maintenance, repairs, engineering, overhaul and production, including workshop and assembly. Clients include manufacturers and carriers and are based across the globe.
ATA Defence and Aerospace builds on ATAs vast experience in placing highly skilled technical staff with companies ranging from SMEs to multinationals. It predominantly works with experienced candidates who come from a technical background and have worked in the defence sector for most of their careers, including former armed forces candidates from all ranks.
The new division sources candidates for roles in the UK, Europe, and North America, as well as to support frontline operations overseas.
Gary Hewett, Managing Director of ATA Verticals, said: ATA has many years experience providing technically skilled staff to a number of sectors such as rail and engineering.
Building on this wealth of experience we are now able to place technically skilled candidates in the defence and aerospace sector, which is one of the largest business areas in the UK.
Many of the organisations within this sector are international in scale. At ATA we have both the experience and the capability to find the best possible candidates who can develop and deliver new equipment quickly and effectively.
Through our Defence and Aerospace division we can provide organisations in this sector with the highly skilled staff that they need.
In addition to placing candidates within this sector, ATA Defence and Aerospace has been working alongside the Career Transition Partnership, a charity which helps ex-forces personnel to find employment within private businesses. While many jobs are secured in the defence sector, ATA Defence and Aerospace has recognised that ex-forces workers possess a wide range of transferable skills which has helped them to relocate into other sectors through ATA Rail and ATA Energy.
