PING, one of the worlds leading manufacturers of golf equipment, has awarded independent recruitment specialist right4staff a contract to supply temporary workers at its site in Gainsborough to assemble its exciting new range of products which are set to revolutionise the golf equipment market.

Right4staff will initially supply around 20 flexible workers to help handle the increased workload at the site which has resulted from the launch of the G15 and i15 Series, which include drivers, irons, hybrids and fairway woods. It is the first-ever launch by PING of two complete families in the main equipment categories.

John Solheim, PINGs Chairman & CEO, explains: The G15 Series appeals to the majority of golfers who rely on the easier-to-hit attributes of a maximum forgiveness, higher launch type of club. With the i15, a lot of players will be attracted to the added control and versatility they offer. The i15s will deliver the forgiveness we all need, but theyve been engineered to provide the workability that a lot of more skilled golfers look for in their clubs.

PING is well known for its commitment to high standards of welfare for its own employees and is keen that its flexible workers receive similar treatment from their agency. The fact that right4staff employs its staff directly on Contracts of Employment and provides them with a number of benefits such as NVQ training was a crucial factor in the award of the contract.

Paul Smith, Managing Director (North) at right4staff said Our ability to provide a high calibre of flexible worker to PING is extremely important as every one is playing a vital role in supporting this exciting product launch. We have also been chosen to supply a number of catering staff for the Gainsborough Golf Club which is owned by PING and is one of the most prestigious clubs in the country.
