NewCo Intentions For Niall Hamill

Former COO of FiveTen Group, Niall Hamill has today announced to Recruitment International, ambitions plans for a NewCo which is set to commence trading in January 2010.

Hamill announced that he plans to grow NewCo through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisition initially opening simultaneously in Sydney and Melbourne and employing approximately 20 fee earners in Financial Services recruitment. Subsequent expansion locally and into Asia by the middle of the year should bring numbers closer to 50, he said.

He also highlighted that he believed that both India and China were on the radar as he believed that the markets were now mature enough to accept a fee for service.

Hamill also rubbished suggestions recently by other recruiters saying that they were only interested in hiring Consultants presently employed. Ive seen some superb Consultants who were quite simply either in the wrong Company or the wrong job. Recessions akin to this make for a great opportunity to build a business he said, adding that good Consultants very often maintain or even increase their billings in what are perceived to be poor markets

Hamill also confirmed that he has engaged Northbridge Consulting to run the ruler over several potential acquisition opportunities both public and privately owned.

The present economic climate is throwing up some exceptional opportunities for both buyers and vendors said Harris where there was quite simply immediate gains for both parties with an organised exit for the vendors and new funding from buyers which gave a whole world of new opportunities for staff.
