reed.co.uk announces national brand advertising campaign
Leading UK job board, reed.co.uk, today announces the launch of a major new autumn advertising campaign, starting on 21st September.
Activity will extend throughout Great Britain and Northern Ireland, with nationwide bus side advertising kicking off the campaign, supported by local radio commercials and an extended poster campaign on the London Underground.
The autumn burst, which will breath new life into reed.co.uk's hugely popular 'Love Mondays' campaign, will be the brand's biggest promotion of recent years, reaching out to new jobseeking audiences.
Mark Rhodes, Head of Marketing at reed.co.uk, explains that brand advertising is a key part of reed.co.uk's strategy to lead the market:
"reed.co.uk is a highly respected online recruitment brand, delivering an outstanding product and an extremely effective service. Building awareness amongst jobseekers from all specialisms is key to cementing our position as the UK's job market, online.
"We're committed to a long term programme of brand activity to attract a new generation of jobseekers to reed.co.uk, improving the effectiveness of the service we provide to recruiters and expanding the diversity and quality of CVs registered with the site."
The latest campaign comes as reports suggest the UK jobs market is showing signs of recovery, and reed.co.uk continues to win new clients across a range of industries.
"In spite of the difficult jobs market, we're confident that now is the time to remind jobseekers across the UK that there are thousands of vacancies available and that the number of organisations recruiting is on the rise."
Recruiters have posted over 800,000 vacancies on reed.co.uk so far in 2009, attracting more than 12 million applications.
