Ambition in London for Witan Jardine

Witan Jardine, an Ambition Group company, has launched a new brand identity. The new identity marks the second phase of transition for Witan Jardine, purchased in January 2008 by Ambition Group. It will serve the specialist recruitment business until the integration of the businesses is complete in mid 2010 when the company will be fully rebranded to Ambition in London.

The transitional brand identity, shown below, brings Witan Jardine clearly into the fold of Ambition Group, taking visual cues from the fonts and colour palette of the Ambition brand, and takes a fresh approach to endorsement, introducing the Ambition name through an anchor at the top left of the identity.

The transitionary brand, developed by The Red Thread Group, will help to ensure a seamless migration for our clients, candidates and employees, a considerable number of whom have been with the UK company for many years.

Commenting on the brand transition initiative, Regional Managing Director Guy Day said: Almost two years have passed since Witan Jardine became part of Ambition and we have already introduced some very positive changes to organisation structure, people and IT systems. We will also be focusing on our external marketing and communications so feel now is the logical time to be addressing our corporate identity and migrating towards one international brand: Ambition.

He continued: The next six to twelve months will be the first step in an exciting journey where we are able to more fully leverage the benefits of being one global recruitment company. This will make our proposition attractive to candidates and employees and offer continuity to existing clients looking to recruit overseas.

Witan Jardine has 30 years of history operating in the London market and recruits across Banking & Financial Services, Finance & Accountancy and Sales & Marketing.

This wont be a lights-off lights-on solution Day emphasised. We respect the equity of the Witan Jardine name and reputation but hope to introduce the fresher, more modern and dynamic Ambition edge to our brand in London.
