LEEDS MOVE FOR EXPANDING SPECIALIST RECRUITER

LEEDS MOVE FOR EXPANDING SPECIALIST RECRUITER

Langton Howarth, a leading provider of world class candidates to the life sciences industry, has moved to new and larger premises in Leeds. The move is to facilitate growth as the company expands its services to an ever wider customer base.

The company now offers an all encompassing, end to end recruitment proposition, not just to life sciences, but other industries complimentary to its core business. It delivers a 'bench to boardroom' service across all disciplines, finding staff for appointments in laboratory based work, equipment sales all the way through to senior management and board level.

To meet the demands of its widening remit, Langton Howarth has established three new divisions Animal Health, Consumer Health & Beauty and Diagnostics. It has recruited three new members of staff who will have dedicated responsibility for each division: Jeremy Thomas (Animal Health), Kirsty Fenella Smith (Health & Beauty) and Katie Mahoney (Diagnostics).

The company is also fast building an international presence and has added Danielle Casey to the team to focus on the development of this side of its business. Prior to joining the Langton Howarth team, Danielle had extensive experience in life sciences recruitment including head hunting and selection.

Commenting on the further expansion of her company, Emma Howarth, who established the business three years ago, said: We're already supplying search and recruitment services to blue chip global drug companies including Sigma Aldrich, Illumina, VWR International and Millapore. In a highly results driven industry we've established a reputation for understanding and fulfilling the exact requirements of our clients. To further raise our profile, during 2010, we'll be attending and exhibiting at international drug industry exhibitions and conferences in the UK, mainland Europe and the the USA.

Emma Howarth recently won the inaugural International Business Forum 'Young Entrepreneur of the Year' award.
