Omega Resource Group on the hunt to buy new business

Omega Resource Group has announced an ambitious acquisitions policy with a declared intention to further develop the business across all divisions.

Already conversing with a number of businesses across the South UK, the recruitment specialist is making a concerted push to extend its geographical footprint in a bid to enhance the business and double its turnover to in excess of 50m in the next 3 years.

A number of key new contracts and successes have buoyed the business to new levels, said James Strickland, Managing Director of Omega Resource Group. To take advantage of this, we are actively searching for businesses out there that are looking to become part of a fast-growing and successful company with ambitious goals in the recruitment industry.

This year, Gloucestershire-based Omega Resource Group, with offices in the Netherlands, Dubai and Poland, and its constituent divisions have racked up a string of extremely successful ventures that have elevated the company to a strong enough position to be in the market for acquisitions and seen Omega expand its presence nationally.

Since April, Omega Consultancy Services has been working with the Department of Work and Pensions to provide consultancy services to newly unemployed professionals and graduates in the South West and Midlands a service that proved to be such a success that Omega recently extended its provision of the service to a host of other regions through the companys growing national network of consultants.

Omega Workforce, Omega Resource Groups temporary workforce division, also announced this month the clinching of a major contract win with Laithwaites Wine the UK distribution arm of the worlds leading wine distributor Direct Wines worth in excess of 5m over three years.

We are proud at this time to be in such a strong position as to be able to think about acquisitions when many companies are still struggling to stay cash positive, said Strickland. We hope that this pride in our achievements and the successes that we have enjoyed will encourage likeminded businesses to come forward and become a part of our success.
