This will be delivered through a series of REC interactive masterclasses running throughout the day focussing on diversity, social media, business branding, improving business effectiveness, AWD next steps and public procurement.
Recruitment futures will be covered by Clare Normanton, Eurostars HR Director and the Royal Mails Alison Hodgeson who will look at strategies post-recession for attracting the best talent while Ralph Tribe from BSkyB will consider how Generations X/Y could change the employment landscape.
Peter Bedford, Global Resourcing Director of ABB said of the Convention: "As a former executive search partner myself, I am looking forward to this opportunity of a dialogue with the recruitment industry in order to help them understand how important it is that an employer's differentiating brand values are portrayed accurately - and demonstrated consistently- as part of the recruitment process.
There are challenges ahead for both of us but the National Convention is a very positive step forward in giving everyone a chance to hear each other's views so that we can address them in a constructive and mutually beneficial way."
Sej Butler, IBM's European Recruitment Manager added: "We all welcome the National Convention being the ideal platform through which to attain a closer and stronger perception of each others roles and how we can assist each other in the future.
The National Convention is being held at the HAC in London on Thursday November 26 and full details on the days events including how to book a place are available from the website, www.rec-convention.com.
