Education recruiter scores top marks in Quality Mark accreditation
Specialist supply teacher recruiter, ITN Mark Education, has scored 100% in its accreditation for the prestigious Quality Mark.
The Quality Mark is a joint initiative between the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and is designed to help both schools and teachers become more confident about the agencies they use. Quality Mark holders are required to meet strict standards covering the way supply teachers are recruited, selected and supplied to schools. To achieve the Quality Mark applicants undergo a rigorous assessment process including a comprehensive on-site audit and re-accreditation audits are carried out every two years.
Weve been a strong supporter of the scheme since it was introduced in 2002, says ITN Mark Education director, Sharon Bullock, so were delighted that the high standards we apply to sourcing and supplying teachers to schools across the country have been recognised in this way.
Kevin Green, Chief Executive of the REC, which manages the Quality Mark scheme, says, ITN Mark Education is to be congratulated for excelling itself in reaching the optimum standard for recruiting supply teachers. This standard is becoming increasingly recognised within the industry as guaranteeing effective and ethical provision of supply teachers who are so crucial to the lifeblood of schools.
