Acorn drives transport recruitment in North West
Leading recruitment and training agency Acorn is fast becoming the driving force behind recruiting new staff for the transport industry throughout the North West.
Acorn has launched a new driving division based in its Preston, and Runcorn branches, which has been developed to serve its clients right across the North West of England.
Newly-appointed Acorn recruitment consultant David Meloy, 28, will manage the new North West driving division, supplying experienced workers to driving, transport and logistics companies throughout the region.
Preston-based David, who has experience as a driving consultant for two national driving specialist recruitment companies said: I have a wealth of experience and knowledge of the driving sector, which Ill use to  benefit of all our logistics clients and the people we place with them.
Acorn has had great success in driving recruitment across its other regions and I look forward to building on this and helping to make Acorn one of the UKs leading names in driving recruitment.
Acorn director joins National training board
A director at leading UK recruitment and training agency Acorn has been appointed to the board of The National Training Federation for Wales (NTFW).
Director of Operations for Acorns Learning & Development Division, Barbara Poole takes on the role of Vice Chair for the NTFW South East Region and will ensure that all members have a say in new education and training policy in Wales.
