RECRUITMENT AGENCY ATTAINS PERFECT MARKS IN QUALITY MARK RE-ACCREDITATION IN SUPPLY TEACHERS SELECTION

Celsian Education, a nationwide specialist education recruitment agency since 1993 has been re-accredited with the DCSF Quality Mark for the seventh consecutive year scoring 100 per cent in its audit.

This accolade demonstrates that it has continued to achieve the highest possible standard of recruitment selection and vetting of supply teachers.

Paul Broderick, Managing Director of Celsian Education said: Weve invested heavily in our bespoke systems and infrastructure this year and Im extremely proud and delighted with what we have achieved.  To have been so outstandingly successful with our 100 per cent pass mark during our re-accreditation for the Quality Mark is a delight.

There is no higher recognition of our commitment to ensure safe-guarded recruitment.  This will give confidence to our thousands of client schools that our standards are of the highest in the industry.

Celsian has offices in Southampton, Stratford in London, Luton, Leicester, Birmingham, Derby, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Gateshead.

Kevin Green, Chief Executive of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) which manages the Quality Mark scheme, said: Celsian is to be praised for continuing to excel itself in reaching the optimum standard for recruiting supply teachers.

The Quality Mark is becoming increasingly recognised within the industry as guaranteeing effective and ethical provision of supply teachers who are so crucial to the lifeblood of schools.

Supply teachers make an increasingly important contribution to the smooth running of schools. At the same time, it is essential to ensure that the supply staff that are being placed within the schools are of the required standard and have been correctly vetted by the agency supplying them.

Within this context, the Governments Quality Mark Scheme plays a crucial role by providing a recognisable quality threshold and by promoting high standards in the provision of supply teachers.
