BIE Interim Executive strengthens team with new director appointment
Kirk Rogers has joined the specialist team sourcing senior-level interim executives for public and private sector clients at BIE Interim Executive, in response to growing market demand. Rogers is 39, an accountant by training and latterly spent five years working as an interim executive himself.
He brings a wealth of wide-ranging business experience to his new role, including four years heading up the Microsoft account at FTSE 100 firm De La Rue plc, the world's largest commercial security printer and papermaker. Rogers then worked in internet and publishing start-ups, corporate trading and, since 2005, on numerous assignments as a senior-level interim executive. These included running a large-scale marketing efficiency programme for Daimler-Chrysler, managing director of one Englands nine regional Business Links and chief executive of an environmental technology support services organisation.
BIE chief executive Robert Walker said:
Since weve placed him on several interim assignments, we know Kirk delivers results. He brings insights and experiences from both sides of the fence clients will notice his real depth of senior level business acumen, while interims can expect the kind of empathy that only comes from someone whos been in their shoes.
Kirk Rogers said:
Having been an interim myself, I know the best intermediaries place great emphasis on two things: nurturing relationships with their interim community understanding their clients business and management issues. BIE is best at both and thats what attracted me to this new role.
BIE is the UK's leading provider of senior level interim executives, serving plcs, private companies, government, not-for-profit organisations, private equity and venture capital firms in the UK and overseas.
