KForce Posts Better Than Expected Results
Staffing company Kforce Inc has posted better-than-expected quarterly results, helped in part by lower costs, and forecast first-quarter revenue above Wall Street estimates.
The company also said it was aggressively pursuing business opportunities and that permanent placement, which accounted for 3% of 2009 revenue, was up 13% sequentially.
For the fourth quarter, Kforce posted net income was $3.5 million, compared with a net loss of $107.9 million a year ago. Revenue fell 7% to $224.6 million.
