Bullhorn announces new UK MD amid expansion plans

Bullhorn, the global leader in on demand, front office recruitment software, today announced the appointment of Peter Linas as UK Managing Director, signalling the commencement of the company's planned 2010 expansion.  Linas moves from his previous role as UK Sales Director, having overseen consistent growth since Bullhorn's UK launch in June 2009.  He will continue to work with Bullhorn CEO and Founder, Arthur (Art) Papas, building on the global brand's existing UK presence.    Bullhorn offers a complete, one-stop resource for the recruitment industry.  Easily implemented by organisations of any size, the web native software covers a recruiter's every need from sourcing and applicant tracking, to candidate and client relationship management (CRM), job management email and calendaring.  Furthermore, the Bullhorn Marketplace, a location for software applications and services that extend the Bullhorn Platform, gives Bullhorn customers the ability to leverage a variety of cutting edge technologies to serve needs across their entire business. As a true web product, Bullhorn integrates seamlessly with web-based services, such as LinkedIn, which is critical as online recruiting channels continue to expand.
The appointment of a UK MD follows on swiftly from the recent successful implementation of the platform at leading engineering recruiter Talascend and Allan Recruitment, in addition to a new contract win with major energy resourcing company Spencer Ogden. Bullhorn also announced the recruitment of further engineers, UK support staff and sales staff, to be based at the London headquarters.

Peter Linas commented: "Our plan for 2010 is to continually enhance the Bullhorn offering for our UK customers, and we are delighted to have brought such strong new talent onto the Bullhorn UK team in support of this plan.  Each new member will be dedicated to rapidly expanding our UK client base, and will be integral in driving Bullhorns unique 24-hour support function.
The larger sales team is needed to work closely with the ever growing number of UK recruitment agencies who are engaging with Bullhorn.  Linas continued: "Having been with the company since its launch in the UK, I have seen the software quickly develop as the natural choice for modern day recruitment agencies. The recession has proved an ideal time for many agencies to take a step back, review their systems and processes and prepare themselves for the upturn.
