Forde Recruitment branches into education sector
A Sheffield recruitment firm is calling for education workers to come forward, after recently expanding its services into the schools sector.
Forde Recruitment, a privately owned recruitment firm, has now branched into Forde Education, a specialist recruitment agency supplying teachers, classroom assistants, nursery nurses, special needs workers and support staff to employers throughout South and West Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire.
The company, based on Leopold Street, is now asking those with relevant skills to come forward to put their knowledge into practice and land their dream job.

Paul Forde, managing director at Forde Recruitment, said: Forde Recruitment began its life in 1991, and is now established as a driving, industrial, secretarial and commercial agency. However, recently we saw a chance to develop the business by diversifying into the education sector, so grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

Weve used our considerable knowledge and experience to put Forde Education into practice, being able to offer fast, responsive advice and support to help those needing employment find their perfect position in education. We also deliver a first class service to schools who need supply staff.

The new venture is run by an ex teacher with nine years experience in the classroom, who understands the education sector first hand.

Prestigious assignments and flexible jobs within nurseries, primary and secondary schools, colleges and special needs classrooms are available across the region.

The agency is particularly looking for multilingual teachers, especially in languages including Urdu, Punjabi, Romany and eastern European, for the opportunity of teaching in schools with ethnic minorities. Candidates should also have some kind of teaching experience in their background.
Paul added: Our research has shown there is a real demand in schools which educate pupils with different languages. Were finding that some schools are unable to provide anybody who can communicate properly with different ethnicities. Wed really like to help change that.
A series of open days are currently being scheduled for anyone interested in an education career, whether starting out or advancing their profession. Anyone who is interested should access the website for forthcoming announcements of dates.
