HCL Thames Medics Runs Mobile Compliance and Training Days
The leading medical recruitment agency is making it faster and easier for doctors to ensure they are fully compliant for National Framework locum work by travelling the UK with a mobile Compliance Office.
HCL Thames Medics, the National Framework agency for recruitment of doctors to the NHS, and part of HCL plc, has launched a Mobile Compliance Office to help locum doctors ensure they are fully compliant in all aspects for work on the NHS National Framework.
The Company is helping locum doctors fast track their compliance process by travelling to them, wherever they are in the UK. HCL Thames Medics specialist mobile team will conduct a face to face interview with the locum doctors, help to fill out and complete their paperwork and take photocopies so that the doctors can retain all their important documents. HCL Thames Medics will also advise on any outstanding items, and aid in their completion.
HCL Thames Medics already owns a growing database of fully compliant doctors of all grades and specialties, and has launched this new initiative in order to increase the flow of doctors under the Framework to hospitals.
In addition to the Mobile Office, HCL Thames Medics will be running monthly compliance and training days in major cities across the UK including London, Leeds and Birmingham. Locum doctors can attend for compliance paperwork, training and interviews and can even have bloods taken if they do not have all the requisite health checks.
Kirsten Simcoe, Managing Director of HCL Thames Medics, says:Our aim is to make the compliance process as quick and easy as possible for busy, time poor medical professionals by bringing it directly to their doors, at any time of day or night. For locum doctors, it means reassurance that they are fully compliant for great jobs in the National Framework in leading hospitals across the UK. For our clients, it will result in a boost in the database of compliant locum doctors who can be deployed to fill shifts at short notice.
