Maxwell Drummond International Plans Further Growth with New Board and Management Appointments

Maxwell Drummond International today announces four new appointments across its Board and management as part of an overall enhancement of the companys leadership teams. Steve Cardno, Chief Financial Officer and Scott MacDonald, Vice President of Corporate Services of Maxwell Drummond will sit on the Board from immediate effect. This brings the total number of Board members to five, including Chairman John Kennedy, CEO Andrew MacDonald and COO Kevin Davidson. The global executive search consultancy, established in Aberdeen, has also strengthened its management teams within its UK and Canadian offices. This move follows a period of strong growth, with turnover increasing by almost 100% over the last two years.

Steve Cardno has worked in Maxwell Drummonds Aberdeen office since 2007, taking responsibility for the firms financial operations around the world. During his time with the company, Steves focus has been on establishing a solid platform for continued expansion, locally and globally. Working with Maxwell Drummond for over ten years in the Aberdeen and London offices, Scott MacDonald has been a key senior consultant and is now responsible for developing company talent and succession planning.

Sean Buchan has led the Aberdeen office for the last year and will now take the new position of UK General Manager, where he will be responsible for managing Maxwell Drummonds personnel in Aberdeen and London. Sean joined Maxwell Drummond in 2006 and has consistently been one of its top performers in senior executive search assignments.

Stephen Sheal, Senior Vice President, based in Maxwell Drummonds Aberdeen office has decided to move on from the company.

Overseeing Maxwell Drummonds operations in Canada, Brian Coffman will take on the role of General Manager, based in the Calgary office. Brian joined Maxwell Drummond in Houston after holding senior HR positions with BHP Billiton in Houston and Melbourne. Brian has had international exposure from an early age as an American who attended the international school in Aberdeen and the American School in Surrey.

Andrew MacDonald, CEO of Maxwell Drummond says, We have strengthened our Board and management team to continue to drive the firms global expansion. Sean and Brian have both worked with Maxwell Drummond for many years and have a very good understanding of how the business works, along with our goals. This makes them well placed to take on the role of managing our operations in the UK and in Canada respectively.

The business has expanded rapidly and our key objective is to maintain strategic focus whilst developing our worldwide networks. As Chief Financial Officer of Maxwell Drummond, Steve will be working with the Board to create a structure for building our global position. Scotts focus will be to ensure we have the required personnel in place to aid this further development and continue to deliver high standards to our clients across the world.
