Randstad joins the CrossKnowledge customer base

The group is looking to build on its existing L&D strategy and enhance skill development for young managers.

Paris, 21st April, 2010 - CrossKnowledge, the European expert in the remote development of leadership and management skills through new technologies, is pleased to announce that the leading employment services provider, Randstad, has recently joined its customer base. Randstad wished to further develop its already vast training offer and help employees meet their career goals by offering them an innovative, high-quality blended learning experience.

Offering Randstad employees in Belgium an innovative and flexible learning solution

As a company specialised in the highly competitive HR services and temporary employment market, Randstad is acutely aware of the importance of giving managers continual support and enabling them to develop the skills necessary to flourish in an ever-changing environment. In order to facilitate this, Randstad recently teamed up with CrossKnowledge and over the next two years will implement the companys highly flexible distance learning solutions. The new learning offer will target an audience composed primarily of managers.

Partially using CrossKnowledge solutions, the Learning & Development department at Randstad Belgium provides 90% of the companys training solutions to ensure that the learning programmes implemented represent the main pillar in the development of its people, a consideration which is central to Randstads core values.

It is also crucial for Randstad to see its key managers develop critical skills. As Randstad works with relatively young managers (especially in the field), a strong focus on building broader internal capabilities is particularly desirable. The fact that CrossKnowledge is a member of the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), the global authority for management education, demonstrates their suitability as a service provider.
