DANBRO RENEWS ISO ACCREDITATION

DANBRO RENEWS ISO ACCREDITATION

Danbro, the specialist accountants for contractors, had further cause to celebrate recently when it secured a prestigious accreditation for its management systems with flying colours.

The company first received the ISO9001:2008 accreditation in April 2009, and since then it has had to be renewed on a six-monthly basis. An accreditor spent a day at the firm during March, ensuring its quality management systems, compliance procedures and infrastructure were up to scratch.

Assistant to the directors Emma Holindale said: We were particularly praised for making all of our management systems electronic, our analysis of customer satisfaction, the new online timesheets system, our procedures for resolving IT problems and the training and development of our workforce.

They were also looking to see that we had moved on from before that we werent just doing the minimum but were constantly looking at ways we could improve on the systems and structures we already had in place.

If you pass your ISO accreditation, they will normally highlight a couple of minor areas where you can improve not enough to fail on but things you have to put right within a certain time but we were delighted not to get any of those, which was fantastic for us.

The accreditation caps a strong beginning to 2010 for Danbro, which also won the prize for Small Deal of the Year at the Insider Dealmakers Awards 2010 for its successful takeover of Safe Business Solutions last year, and made the final shortlist for Business of the Year and Best use of E-Business at the Be Inspired Business Awards.
