Elite Leaders launches Foundation
Elite Leaders launches Foundation for Start-Up & Early-Stage Recruitment firms
Elite Leaders, the recruitment industrys pre-eminent Leadership Development organization, has today launched Elite Foundation, a specialist support service for both start up and early-stage growth recruitment companies.
The Elite Foundation program will provide comprehensive support and expertise to the most ambitious early stage recruitment companies and those entrepreneurs with the drive and desire to successfully grow their businesses.
Commenting on the move, John OSullivan, Managing Director said, The real attraction of the Elite organization is that it can bring real life expertise and experience to recruitment entrepreneurs through a team which has genuinely had hands-on experience in both starting up and growing hugely successful recruitment businesses - that expertise is invaluable.
Leveraging the Elite team of experts and preferred partners we will be able to advise on systems, finance, marketing, training, branding, and just about any other aspect of either starting up or growing an early stage recruitment company, leaving the principals free to develop and grow their businesses, said OSullivan.
We will also tailor the offering to include the attraction, hiring, training and induction of new talent into these companies, the most critical, yet hazardous part of any new venture.
There are record numbers of new recruitment firms coming onto the market, mostly niche specialists, driven by what many see as fertile ground in the immediate aftermath of the recession. Whilst many of these fledgling entrepreneurs are undoubtedly big billers, few will have the experience needed to start up, run and build their own company, and that is where the Foundation aims to help added OSullivan.
Numerous established organizations have benefited greatly from the support given to them by Elite in the last five years, indeed many attribute their success to ideas and initiatives gained through their involvement.
Membership of the Foundation will provide an affordable alternative to some of the current routes to market, most of which involve significant equity sacrifice, expensive consultancy services, or income sharing with an external service provider or silent partner
There is no need to give up equity in your new venture at such an early stage, and many live to regret doing so when they become more established, OSullivan said I spend an increasing amount of my time unraveling such arrangements, which seem so tempting at the outset, but mostly prove to have unilateral advantages
The Foundation hopes to be instrumental in arranging strategic mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures amongst its members, something which already happens frequently within Elite Leaders.
Those companies that grow successfully can look to graduate to full Elite membership when ready, and to continue their journey to value creation under the stewardship of the organization.
There are reportedly around 10,000 recruitment organizations in the UK, we will only engage with a tiny proportion of these, the ones with real ambition and a clear aspiration to succeed. The opportunities in the wake of the economic downturn will be stellar for those with the right attitude, and with the best support mechanisms in place, concluded OSullivan.
