Team24 selected for London Regional Agency Nursing Framework

Team24, the recruitment healthcare specialist, has been selected to join the London Regional Agency Nursing Framework to provide agency nurses to NHS hospitals in the London region. The period of contract is three years, from 17 May 2010 to 16 May 2013, with an option to extend for a further 12 months.

Team24 is already an established supplier of specialist nursing staff in a number of NHS and private hospitals, securing 1,000 posts for doctors and nurses every week. The London Regional Agency Nursing Framework covers the supply of nurses to the NHS of all bands and sub-job families, including community service nurses, dental nurses, health visitors, midwives and theatre nurses.

Team24 founder and managing director, Robert Stiff said: Were very proud that we have achieved this industry placement, in an intrinsically competitive sector. Quality care standards have always been a priority for Team24 and this acknowledges that our agency staff fulfill the compliance of the NHS terms and conditions of contract and relevant quality standards.

The selection process for joining the framework is rigorous, Team24 was assessed on its capacity to deliver, its track record and its capability to meet NHS standards, including satisfactory customer references. Each agency included in the agreement is subject to thorough independent audit by the NHS and must meet stringent quality standards. The demanding nature of the process ensures that NHS organisations can be confident that agencies signed up to the agreement will adhere to quality and security guidelines.
