A headhunter is named as one of the top
A headhunter is named as one of the top 42 entrepreneurs under the age of 42 in the Midlands.
Andrew Guy, a director and co-founder of PGC, the Henley-in-Arden based executive search and HR consulting firm, has been named as one of 42 entrepreneurs to watch by Midlands Business Insider magazine.
Midlands Business Insider magazine runs an annual feature profiling 42 young entrepreneurs under the age of 42, across a diverse range of sectors. Every individual featured in the listing published in the June edition of Midlands Business Insider has been chosen by the magazine editorial team, or nominated by their peers.
PGC was started 10 years ago by three former Deloitte consultants and has grown to be one of the leading independent search and selection firms in the UK.
PGC, has grown since its inception in 1999, but still remains true to its founding values of providing consulting excellence, practical solutions and successful outcomes for their clients. PGC has extended its professional services and advice to include talent management, assessment and development and strategic HR consulting in response to changing market requirements in addition to continually strengthening its original core service of executive recruitment.
According to Midlands Business Insider PGC has survived the recession better than other recruitment companies. It is particularly telling that there are only two other recruiters listed in the 42 under 42 feature and both of those operate in niche markets. Andrew Guy explained PGCs endurance: In the good years PGC did not pursue growth at the expense of quality, but held firm to its commitment to client service.
In 2009 PGC, was invited to join one of Europes longest established executive search groups, Friisberg & Partners International.
