Deadline extended to July 7 for IRP Awards nominations
The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has announced it is extending the deadline for applications to the 2010 IRP Awards. The deadline has been extended to next Wednesday (July 7).
This will give recruitment businesses and their people a final opportunity to nominate those within the industry who have continued to demonstrate excellence and best practice.
Now in their second year, there are 16 awards up for grabs that recognise the achievements of both individual recruiters and recruitment businesses. These are the only awards presented by the trade body for the recruitment industry.
Commenting on the extension to the awards deadline, Kevin Green, the RECs Chief Executive said:
These awards are open to everyone within the IRP and REC and are designed to bring together the industry and celebrate those people and companies who demonstrate excellence and really make a difference to their clients and candidates on a daily basis.
It does not matter if nominees have just joined the industry or have been working within it for 20 years everyone has a great chance to show what positive role models they are.
