Jobs4Medical has the highest percentage

Jobs4Medical has the highest percentage of healthcare job seekers in UK
Results from 2010 NORAS report the world's largest online recruitment study
Report also reveals an overall increase in the number of people solely using the Internet to search for vacancies
According to the results of the 2010 NORAS report, Jobs4Medical, a leading specialist online recruitment service for the medical profession, has the highest percentage of healthcare job seekers than any other UK jobs board, with 85 per cent of its visitors actively searching for a new position. The survey, which is the largest online recruitment study in the world, also discovered that over 50 per cent of the traffic to the site is from candidates with a high-level qualification and over 10 years of relevant work experience. The annual NORAS survey, which has been running since 2001, helps recruiters and agencies to decide which is the best jobs board for posting individual vacancies. Additional findings from the report highlighted a significant increase in the number of candidates solely using the Internet to search for vacancies, as well as a strong growth in the number of people exploring social networking sites when looking for a new job. This year's survey includes research from over 95,000 candidates, spread across 62 jobs boards. We have seen an increase every year in the amount of jobs boards wanting to take part in the NORAS survey, which shows how important it has become as an industry tool, commented Thomas Prince, Project Manager at Enhance Media, founders of NORAS. It really is clear from our findings this year how important the Internet is for candidates looking for a new job. However, it can be a minefield for advertisers and recruiters when deciding on the best place to post a new vacancy so we hope that the results bring some clarity on the most targeted sites for job placement.Vicky Scott, Operation Manager at Jobs4Medical, commented, It's a great endorsement for us to be projected so high in the 2010 NORAS research. We know that recruitment is an area where budgets remain tight, so this survey is a vital tool in helping the industry to decide which jobs board best fits recruiter's criteria. The healthcare sector in particular can not afford to attract the wrong candidates, so the fact that our traffic is so targeted is a real testament to the work that we have done to build our profile over the last few years.
