The reception area at Solihull based Plum Personnel will be featured as the backdrop for a film to be shown at the 2010 Regional Jobcentre Plus Awards.
The staff of the recruitment agency spent an afternoon filming with Chris Simpson, the Co-ordinator for the West Midlands Jobcentre Plus Awards after being short-listed as nominees for The Recruit Partnership Award.
The Local Employer Partnership (LEP) Jobcentre Plus Awards are designed to showcase the achievements of companies, partnerships and individuals who have worked with Jobcentre Plus.  The Plum team will be joining other nominees who have been short-listed at a prestigious Award Ceremony in July for the West Midlands region.
Julie Whitehouse, Director said Since 2001 Plum Personnel has worked closely with Jobcentre Plus (JCP) to unlock talent.  Our relationship has been borne out of our strong commitment to providing a quality recruitment service for local companies to find the right people for the right job.
Our partnership approach has resulted in Plum Personnel being able to successfully assist unemployed men and women in securing temporary and permanent positions.  Were delighted to have been recognized for our contribution in helping people who have been affected by redundancy back in to the workplace. added Director Susie Ankrett.
Nominations for the Awards have been received from employers and partner organisations across a range of 6 Awards from Unlocking Talent to Recruitment Innovation.  The winners of the Regional Awards will be eligible for the National Awards.
Debra Mason, Account Manager for JCP described the work between JCP and Plum Personnel as an inspiring partnership and explained, The LEP Awards were introduced by Jobcentre Plus to recognise the important role employment partnerships are playing in getting people back to work and the vital contribution to the local community.
