Odgers Berndtson uses SITEFORUM

To drive new internal communications and process efficiencies SITEFORUM, hosted social community platform improves efficiency and cuts costs with new developments SITEFORUM, a leader in social community software, today announced that executive search consultants, Odgers Berndtson, have selected the company to implement business-critical internal communications and reporting. Odgers Berndtson, which has over 50 offices globally, chose to add crisis management communications to its existing Social Intranet services, hosted by SITEFORUM. Odgers Berndtson relies on SITEFORUMs platform for its Management Information System (MIS) which provides real-time business information in the UK, China, Hong Kong and the Middle East. The software automatically delivers bespoke internal reports from every sector of the company providing timely executive information and eliminating previous manual processes.

The new internal Crisis Management communications solution provides a proactive response to disruptive events enabling consultants and support staff to continue vital business activities and minimise client impact. Integration with the SITEFORUM community platform and SMS gateway enables all employees to be contacted in the event of an emergency providing updates and advice.

Adam Gibson, Odgers Berndtson CIO, comments We initially approached a number of vendors but found that SITEFORUM offered the most effective social community platform, which allowed us to automate our internal communications as much as possible. The social intranet, which is hosted by SITEFORUM, provides a single point of reference for employees across the company. Gibson comments, The social intranet humanises the companys internal interface and allows a way for our employees to share information, knowledge and industry expertise. Bob Pike, COO SITEFORUM says, "We are committed to keeping our world-wide clients equipped with all the social tools they need to increase their revenues and cut costs. These new features have a low support footprint, further extending Odgers Berndtsons ability to optimise their internal communications while significantly improving their efficiency.

Odgers Berndtson is keen to build on the success of the MIS internal network and develop broader social communities across all network groups in the regions. The companies are currently working on future plans geared towards developing a competitive edge and improving interactions with both clients and candidates.
