VINE RESOURCES JOINS FORCES WITH RECRUITMENT JUICE TO GET THE INDUSTRY CELEBRATING
Who can celebrate a placement better than Wayne Kerr of Sunshine Recruitment?
Vine Resources, in partnership with Recruitment Juice, has launched an online competition designed to remind recruiters of the importance of celebrating their achievements. The Beat Wayne competition is challenging recruiters to send in fun, inspirational videos of their
placement celebrations, with prizes on offer for the three best entries.
The Wayne Kerr celebration video is great fun and a useful reminder to all of us that despite the current difficulties in our industry, every placement is worthy of celebration, explains Vine Resources Managing Director, David Lawrence. We wanted to inject a bit of humour back into
the recruitment sector. People have forgotten how to celebrate, but theres a little bit of Wayne in all of us and its time to remember just how much fun a job in recruitment can be. To enter, recruiters have to make a video of their placement celebration and submit it by 13th August 2010, with winners being announced at www.beatwayne.com on 1st September 2010. First prize is 500 and a cameo appearance in the next Recruitment Juice series, plus a full suite of the award-winning Recruitment Juice DVD training programmes worth more than 1,800. Wayne Kerrs placement dance is part of one of our training videos and its great to see it being
used as an inspiration for the industry, comments Recruitment Juice Co-founder, Roy Ripper. Its important for all recruiters to remember to celebrate when they make a placement. After all,
they put a lot of hard work into finding the perfect candidate to fill a vacancy and getting it right is a great achievement why shouldn't they celebrate like Wayne? As well as the Wayne Kerr video, the website features celebration videos from some of the team at Vine Resources. There are a few examples to encourage recruiters and the World Cup will almost certainly be a great source of inspiration for some celebratory moves, says David. We are looking forward to seeing how people are marking their achievements and whether they can beat Wayne and win the prize.
