Gi Group, the Italian company, announces the launch of its Temporary Staffing Services arm in India as a part of its global expansion plans. The European labor market giant, Gi Group finds synergies with Elixir - leaders in RPO Services in India, to have shared operations in the form of a strategic JV - Gi Staffing Services India. This JV brings together the knowledge, processes and experience of both these entities to extend unmatched services in the temporary staffing space.
The Gi Group of companies has in excess of 280,000 employees across 400 branches in Germany, Poland, France, Spain, Romania and, outside Europe, China, Hong Kong, Brazil, Argentina and now in India. Gi Group of companies is currently servicing around 14,200 clients across the globe.
Gi Staffing Services is looking at tapping into the growing temporary staffing market in India, where the concept is still evolving and the sector largely unorganized. According to government reports, the current workforce of the country is estimated to be around 500 million, of which close to 93% are in the unorganized sector. GiSS is aiming to become a reference point in the Temporary Staffing market with unmatched services to cater to the Indian market. The Company has put together a strong team and robust processes for excellent delivery capabilities and is focused very strongly on strict compliance norms to bring greater responsibility and accountability into the labour market.
