A Qualification of Distinction

A Qualification of Distinction
Vicki joins select group with top marks
Relay Recruitment Special Projects Manager, Vicki Street, has achieved the Certificate in Recruitment Practice at its rarely-awarded highest grade.
Now widely anticipated to become a compulsory standard before being allowed to trade, the West and North Yorkshire consultancys quality code has always demanded that all appointees pass the CertRP from the REC.
On average, over 2,000 students enrol on the course every year.  Those who are successful are awarded a pass, merit or distinction.  Few earn merits and less than eight per cent attain the top accolade, with Vicki one of this select group.
As a senior staff member, responsible for change management programmes and an architect of the companys new training school, the Relay Academy, her achievement is an important validation.
Vicki said: I was particularly pleased with the result, as the CertRP is a very relevant qualification that builds the practical skills of recruiters and those who support them, so they can quickly make a significant commercial and professional contribution to their consultancy.
The credibility it brings is particularly useful for those who are responsible for driving projects that will have a far-reaching impact on their company.
Recently she has worked on the complete remodelling of Relays operating methods, systems and culture.  Following this, the firm has exceeded business targets with improved margins and new client wins.
The Certificate in Recruitment Practice involves four main study areas the recruitment marketplace, relevant legislation, relationships with the business community and relationships with candidates.  Students must submit an assignment on each module, before taking an examination covering all subjects.
