Bright Purple bolsters global ambitions with Taranata merger
IT and Financial Services Recruitment specialists Bright Purple Resourcing has unveiled new plans to bolster its presence in the London area and to further target the global marketplace with the merger of City-based Taranata.
Technology recruitment specialist Taranata will now rebrand its London and India operations as Bright Purple. Taranatas owner Justin Willis takes on a new role as the head of Bright Purples London operation which has now relocated from Kent to Canary Wharf.
Nick Price, Managing Director of Edinburgh-based Bright Purple Resourcing said: This is a huge step forward for us. Bringing Justin on board will give us a significantly stronger presence in London and will enable us to really develop our international strategy. The merger is an ideal fit for both companies: Bright Purple has a highly respected name in the UK IT and Financial Services sector and Taranata has a strong presence in many of the global markets we want to reach. We are confident and very excited that this move will enable us to leverage our expertise and sector knowledge in those areas.
Justin Willis, Director of Taranata said: I am very excited about joining forces with Bright Purple. The company has an excellent management team and its people are passionate and knowledgeable about the recruitment industry. I believe Bright Purple can replicate its current success on a global stage and Im really up for the challenge of rolling out the brand in the international markets where I currently operate and beyond.
With a staff of 30 people, Bright Purple generated 18.7m revenue in the last financial year across its offices in Edinburgh and Kent. The company last year appointed Peter Flaherty of the RIG Group as its chairman.
