Company success sparks office merger
Following three years of unprecedented growth, Aligra Personnel has announced a strategic move to merge its Abingdon and Swindon offices.
Specialising in recruitment in sectors such as transport and logistics, industrial, customer service and marketing, Aligra has defied the current economic downturn by achieving year-on-year growth. Last financial year the company saw an annual turnover of 4.4 million a 1 million increase on the previous year, and the company says it is expecting a similar level of revenue growth again this year.
Aligras Managing Director, Mark Neilson, explained: Weve seen outstanding growth in the three years that weve been running. In the last year alone we have signed Lead Vendor agreements with Tesco and leading foodservice company Bidvest (3663), as well as acquiring a new contract with Amscan. Recent investment in state of the art technology has enabled us to provide a far more efficient and less labour intensive service to our clients, helping us to better meet their needs.
Despite our impressive growth we are not complacent in our position and have very ambitious plans for the future, which weve set out in a new five-year strategy. Part of that strategy, which is working towards a turnover of 20 million in 2015, is effective use of our resources. The growth of our company has meant that we now have clients all over the south, and many contracts are so big that we have our own on-site office. This has cut down the need to have two regional offices, but means we still have a large presence in each of the locations that we have clients in. We felt it would be more beneficial to both client companies and those looking for positions to have all of Aligras expertise under one roof in our Swindon town centre office.
The merger is a necessary strategic move to support the continuing growth of the company and provide the most effective and efficient service to our clients and customers. Aligra current works with a large number of clients across the South of England and South Wales. Current client locations are as far reaching as Banbury, Southampton, Cardiff and Thurrock.
