Hays Receives Green Accolade From Boris Johnson
As part of its ongoing commitment to minimise its environmental impact, Hays, the leading recruiting expert, entered the Green500 awards and successfully won a Gold Award. Hays has continued to look at ways of reducing its carbon footprint after receiving a Green500 Silver Award last year and has implemented a number of successful, eco-friendly policies to progress to Gold standard.
The awards, which were hosted and presented by Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, were open to the capitals top 500 largest organisations and public sector businesses. To date the efforts of the Green500 scheme and the organisations involved have resulted in collective CO2 savings of over 476,000 tonnes.
