IT recruiter celebrates year end results
Leading IT recruitment specialist Outsource UK is continuing to beat the recession by turning in excellent end of year results.
The Swindon-based company reported a six per cent increase in turnover at its year end in May, with turnover rising from 18.2 million to 19.3 million. This continues the excellent results of the previous three years which, combined, showed a compound growth rate of 52 per cent.
Relocation in April to its new headquarters at Churchward House, Kemble Drive has provided the space for Outsource UK to maintain the investment in its growth strategy the company now employs 23 people and is looking for more recruiters to join the team.
Outsource UK managing director Paul Jameson said he was delighted with the results, particularly in a year where the recruitment industry has suffered from firms contracting and taking on fewer temporary, permanent and contract IT staff.
I think we have done very well in difficult times, he said. More than that, I am very excited about what comes in the next two years. We want to continue to grow the business both in terms of taking on more staff, increasing our numbers of clients and candidates and acquiring other recruitment businesses to bring under the Outsource UK umbrella.
The results mark the end of a very successful year for Outsource UK, which saw the company securing a place in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 league table of independent fast-growing companies Paul Jameson was named Wiltshire Business Businessperson of the Year and the company became a Recruitment International award winner.
Outsource UK is now looking out for new staff to grow its team of expert recruiters. Paul said they will consider applicants without direct experience in recruitment as well as those from within the industry. Key criteria are enthusiasm, an enjoyment of hard work, and a willingness to fit into the client-focused culture at Outsource.
