GOODMAN MASSON BREAKS SUPERMAN WORLD RECORD
On Friday 20th August, Goodman Masson, the UKs largest independent financial recruitment company, broke the World Record for the largest number of people dressed as Superman.
To help raise money for charity Help for Heroes, 180 men, women and children gathered at Charterhouse Square in the City to break the World Record wearing the superheros renowned blue jump suit, red shoes and red cape. Employees of Goodman Masson together with their friends and family took part in the event before taking to the streets around the City to collect money for Britains Armed Forces. Thousands of pounds were raised from the day which will help to provide better facilities for wounded British servicemen and women.
Prior to this event, the largest gathering of Supermen was achieved by 122 participants in an event organised in the City of Metropolis, Illinois, on 15 June 2008.
Guy Hayward, Goodman Masson Chief Executive, commented on the achievement: Not only have we managed to break a World Record but we have raised substantial funds to help support the fantastic and vital work carried out by Help for Heroes. This is a massive achievement and I would like to thank everyone that took part in helping us to become Guinness World Record breakers.
