Specialist recruitment, employee retention and outplacement company Renovo has launched a dedicated new service that aims to support local authority employee managers and HR decision makers. 
As budgets tighten in the public sector yet the taxpayer continues to demands better value for money, managers are facing increased requirements for multiple staff redeployment and redundancies not to mention the task of engaging and motivating an existing workforce.  With extremely limited budgets and resource, particularly at local authority level, there is currently little support in terms of expertise to achieve this adequately. The new service from Renovo aims to address those challenges with a range of innovative and extremely cost effective packages that can be tailored to suit any given situation and/or budget.
Renovo has already achieved outstanding results through its bespoke programme working with the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) and Jobcentre Plus where it has helped over 12,000 jobseekers over the last 12 months and is now DWP accredited.
Renovo is able to offer support for up to three months from as little as 150 per person by embracing technological advances and using its expert knowledge across public and private sectors.  It can serve recruitment as well as staff redeployment, release and retention needs, effectively providing an extension to client HR operations and becoming an integral part of their operation.
There is no doubt that public sector people managers are set to face multiple redeployments in the near future and the real challenge will be how to deliver that in the most efficient and cost effective way.  Similar to its programme with the DWP, Renovo has adapted a distance based service that includes an interactive online careers system and personal guidance over the telephone, helping to keep costs down and speed up the process. 
If an employees redeployment is unsuccessful Renovos Release proposition is tailored to offer career management support for employees and help them to seek employment in the private sector. 
Completing the employment lifecycle Renovos Retain proposition addresses the ever critical eventuality of disengaged employees.  Renovo is currently working with public sector organisations to measure employee engagement and implement campaigns to re-engage if necessary.  It provides a number of low cost solutions to assist managers in retentions strategy that is immensely overlooked in these recessionary times yet critical to bottom line results and performance.
