Five Foot PR helps grab headlines for recruitment companies
Randstads former Communications Manager has launched Five Foot PR. Hester Grainger celebrated the launch of the PR consultancy by producing a five point PR guide, advising recruitment companies on how to write a headline grabbing press release.
Five Foot PRs five top tips:
1.    The first paragraph of any press release should tell the whole story. If it takes too long or is too complicated, your press release wont get coverage
2.    Journalists often receive hundreds of press releases a day, so make yours creative and interesting. If you include facts and figures from a reputable survey, it will make your story more newsworthy
3.    Although you understand your business jargon, others might not. Dont use corporate speak or technical terms
4.    Think about the audiences you want to engage with and tailor your message accordingly. Make sure you choose the right publications. Its no good sending your press release to one your customers never read
5.    When writing a press release, always ask so what? Remember, although you may think your release is exciting, others may not think so
Hester Grainger, Five Foot PR said: Recruitment companies often underestimate the power of PR. With ever shrinking budgets, creativity is key. PR is a fantastic cost-effective method to help raise a companys profile. If you arent confident about writing a press release, contact a consultancy like Five Foot PR.
