A pioneering series of industry firsts have been introduced by two of the North West recruitment industrys leading lights.
Ian Moat and John Clark of Manchester-based threesixty selection have announced a guaranteed 12 month recruitment assessment period for businesses a market-leading initiative that represents a considerable nine month increase on the established industry standard.
If placements dont work out within the first 12 months, threesixty selection will find businesses replacements for no additional charge. Three month rebates, coinciding with customary probationary periods, have traditionally been the norm.
It has become widely acknowledged that the recruitment sector, as with many service industries, has to add additional value to businesses in the wake of the recession, said John.
Following the recent launch of threesixty selection weve set out to do just that by positioning the consultancy as a true business partner, sharing the risk with our clients through the offer of such a lengthy and consequential value for money guarantee.
With 35 years of combined industry experience, Ian and John launched threesixty selection last month in a bid to raise the bar in executive recruitment.
Senior executive placements can take significantly more than three months to adequately assess and we recognise this, said Ian.
This new business proposition has been initiated following extensive consultations. Businesses have spoken weve listened, tackling negative perceptions of industry short-termism head on.
In addition to the 12 month assessment period, threesixty selection is offering a groundbreaking fee structure, with only half of recruitment fees due on placement, as opposed to the industry norm where all fees are paid upfront.
Moreover, threesixty selection will continue to offer structured feedback, for a full 12 months following executive appointments, to help ensure their success.

We will maintain regular contact, offering consultancy and advice to both parties on an ongoing basis, minimising the risks of placements not working out and maximising client return on investment.
