Huntress, specialist local commercial recruitment consultancy, celebrates its 10th year of success with a fresh new look, logo and team.

The new logo and imagery are just a few of the changes that the business has undergone this year. With changes to senior management, including Di Bradburys appointment as Managing Director (July 2009) and John Pullan stepping into the role of CEO for the Huntress Group (September 2010) Huntress is reaffirming its position as a serious contender in an increasingly competitive arena.

Although the business is 10 years old, it shows no sign of slowing in either growth or success. Expansion into Cardiff and Southampton in September mean that the network of local consultancies has extended to 17. The new teams have been hand-picked based on their local knowledge and experience to run the new branches, which have been established as part of an ongoing growth strategy.

Experienced consultants are attracted to the business due to its higher-than-industry salary and benefits package, as well as the autonomy to run and manage a business that matches the local market requirements. All of the management team have been with the business for an average of 7 years and consultant retention has increased by 50% since 2008.

As well as breaking into new markets, the business has been successful at retaining existing clients - 61 organisations that began trading with Huntress in its first year, are still working with the business.

Huntress has also been successful in attracting talent back, such as Jennifer Plant who now heads the London West End Permanent team. After 7 years, Jennifer left the business last year to head a division of a media recruitment consultancy.

Coming back to Huntress now, feels right. The business and culture have changed substantially and there is a genuine feeling of excitement and fun everyone loves the new structure, benefits and ethos, says Jennifer Plant, manager. My remit is to grow the team to 20 and deepen and extend our client base. I have no doubt this is achievable, even in the current market the business has a really exciting proposition for experienced commercial consultants.
But not everything is changing. The way Huntress operates meeting every candidate and ensuring that every brief is totally understood, remains the same. The formula for success that drives the business is put simply by Managing Director, Di Bradbury:
