KINSEY ALLEN INTERNATIONAL APPOINT ZOE BENNETT TO LAUNCH CLEANTECH & RENEWABLES DIVISION
Zoe Bennett has been appointed head of the new cleantech and renewables division at Kinsey Allen International, the global executive search firm.
Bennett will be responsible for launching Kinsey Allen Cleantech and expanding Kinsey Allen Internationals existing footprint in the cleantech and renewable sector. Based between London and Brighton the division will provide senior executive search services for cleantech businesses directly as well as the venture capital and investment fund firms which invest in the sector.
Bennett joins Kinsey Allen International with 10 years search experience, 5 of which were gained within the renewables and cleantech arena. She will report to Ken Brotherston, group chief executive.
Ken Brotherston, said, The launch of Kinsey Allen Cleantech is an indicator of the growing importance of this industry in the UK. Weve been operating on a global level in the sector for a number of years but with the expansion of the cleantech industry, now is a prime time to be launching a specialist team. We know Zoe will be able to capitalise on the growth forecast for next year and help many businesses looking to expand within this rapidly evolving sector.
Kinsey Allen International forecasts investment in the UK cleantech sector will rise from 166m in 2010 to 325m in 2011 as investment in the sector has increased by an average of 17% quarter on quarter since the start of 2009. This will create 13,000 jobs in the cleantech market in 2011.
