LA International is awarded a place on the new Buying Solutions Framework Agreement for Government
LA International has been awarded four categories on the new Buying Solutions Non-Permanent Staff (NPS) framework agreement for the supply of ICT and Project / Programme Management (PPM) services to Central Government and the Wider Public Sector.
Buying Solutions is the national procurement partner for the UK Public Sector, ensuring value for money is delivered to all Government departments and other Public Sector bodies through the procurement and supply of goods and services from specialist suppliers.
The rigorous year-long tender process culminated in a new Framework Agreement that will provide Public Sector Customers with improved value for money along with efficiency savings in how specialist ICT and PPM services are procured across Government. The new Framework Agreement offers a broad range of categories that will provide Customers with a greater choice of services from a smaller number of specialist Suppliers.
LA International is recognised as a leading supplier of ICT and PPM services to the Public Sector and works with a broad range of Customers across Central Government, Health, Education, Defence, Police & Criminal Justice and Not for Profit organisations.  LA Internationals position as a market leader in the Public Sector has been recently recognised with numerous industry awards including Best Public Sector Agency and Gold Award Winner for its work in the Public Sector.
This is an important win says Paul Lukic, Chairman and CEO: consolidating our position as a leading supplier of ICT and Programme & Project Management resources to Government is central to LA Internationals long-term business strategy. Being successfully accredited   as a Supplier through the new Buying Solutions NPS Framework will allow LA International to continue playing a key role in helping our Customers right across Government to meet some of the unprecedented and much publicised challenges being faced, this framework allows for real open competition between the specialist suppliers ensuring complete value for money for every department.
LA International has been selected as one of only four suppliers on each of the four Buying Solutions lots that it competed for, against a significant group of initial bidders from all corners of the UK. The new Framework Agreement sees the previous number of 13 suppliers in a specific lot reduced down to only four to provide a more cost-effective and efficient procurement vehicle. These include Lots 2a (PPM - Wider Public Sector), 2b (PPM - Central Civil Government), 3a (ICT - WPS) and 3b (ICT - CCG).
Lukic continues: This is in fact the third successive Buying Solutions framework win for LA International and as one of the first Recruitment Consultancies to establish a dedicated Public Sector Division, we have seen our revenue in this sector increase organically by between 30% and 35% each year since 2005. Much of this growth has been driven by our ability to provide our Public Sector Customers with a very high quality service that has remained aligned to their changing commercial requirements and most importantly developing new ways of working together that delivers the efficiencies and cost savings demanded by our Government.
Critical to the success of LA International and its continued growth has been its ability to secure new frameworks including Non-Medical Non-Clinical (NMNC), several Ministry of Defence Frameworks, Commercial Resources Framework (CRF) and major contracts with Customers such as the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Metropolitan Police Service, British Energy, WS Atkins & Hewlett Packard.
The company delivers services from eight specialist divisions at its dedicated single-site HQ located centrally in Staffordshire, spanning Contract, Consultancy, Interim Management and Permanent Staffing. Housing over one hundred Recruitment Professionals, the Contingency and Permanent Divisions include Public Sector, National Security & Defence, ICT, Engineering, Financial, International and Managed Services. LA International is geared up for further growth and development as demand increases in new and emerging markets.
