Lawspeed seminar new dates announced in Manchester and Edinburgh
Lawspeed has announced new dates in its forthcoming seminar series. In addition to the event in London on the 14th October 2010, there will now be a seminar in Manchester on the 16th November 2010 and in Edinburgh on the 18th November 2010.
The seminars primary topic is the Agency Workers Regulations 2010 (AWR) what the regulations really mean, the options available to retain flexibility, and the issues that require resolution. There will also be updates on other topics including the MSC legislation, IR35, the employment status of agency workers and social media.
This promises to be a must-attend event. Lawspeed, recruitment law specialists since 1997, provides advice and contract terms for recruiters which come highly acclaimed. In addition it has been instrumental in the development of recruitment law over the years. Key influences on the legislative landscape include the limited company opt out contained in the Conduct Regulations 2003, first proposed by Lawspeed to government in September 2001 and changes to the MSC legislation which limited agency exposure. The AWR is no exception. Lawspeeds work with the Association of Recruitment Consultancies (ARC) was instrumental in the government consultation process for the AWR, so it is well equipped to provide a thorough and in-depth analysis of the issues at hand.
