Park Capital Limited opens its doors to management teams
Park Capital Limited opens its doors to management teams and announces its maiden deal
Park Capital Limited is delighted to announce that it has launched its corporate finance advisory boutique advising on buy side, sell side, fundraisings and debt refinancings. In addition, it has also advised on the sale of Wall Street Associates, a leading Japanese recruitment company, to EnJapan Inc, a quoted Japanese recruitment group.
Based in St James Square in London, Park Capital was founded by Jason Metcalf (ex partner of Mazars and CV Capital), Min Luk (ex partner of Cavendish Corporate Finance) and Adam Wardle (ex director of GE Capital and Centric) to advise entrepreneurs and small to mid-cap companies utilising each of their respective skill sets and areas of expertise. Together, the team has over 50 years of collective experience, having completed over 150 transactions worth over 1.5bn.
A particular area of focus for Park Capital is advising management teams on management buy outs and buy ins. A key differentiator is Park Capitals fee structures as Park Capital will seek to hold an equity stake alongside the management team rather than the typical one-off success fees charged by corporate finance advisors. This will ensure that Park Capital will work with its clients throughout the entire lifecycle of the business and match its effort and reward with that of the clients equity holders, whilst also providing the following advantages:
Lower advisory costs per transaction
More funding available at the early stage of a transaction for use within the
business at a time when the business needs it most
A highly experienced senior corporate finance team available to work alongside
the management team throughout the life cycle of the business
A highly motivated corporate finance team whose own success is entirely
dependent upon the management teams success in developing the business
Notwithstanding its unique focus with management teams, Park Capital also provides the more usual corporate finance advice and has successfully advised on the sale of Wall Street Associates to EnJapan Inc. After conducting a global marketing process which resulted in significant interest in Wall Street Associates, the company was sold to EnJapan Inc allowing Nick Johnston, the principal shareholder, to realise his investment in the company. Wall Street Associates is one of the leading independent recruitment companies in Japan, focusing primarily on mid-career executive recruitment for foreign owned companies and Japanese businesses with an international focus. The terms of the deal remain confidential.
