Timothy James Consulting Capitalises on GrowthSenior Appointments Specialists Extend London Presence
Timothy James Consulting, the senior appointments specialists, has moved to new London offices, following rapid growth since moving to the capital in March 2010.   The move to London signals the start of national expansion for the Bristol-based firm that saw turnover reach 24 million in the last financial year, with plans for a Manchester office in place for 2011.
Since launching in 2003, Timothy James Consulting has quickly established itself as a leading recruitment partner in the senior appointments arena across specialist disciplines of Project Management, Change Management, ICT, Marketing/E-Commerce, Human Resources, Procurement and Finance in both the public and private sectors. Key clients include Nokia, Capita Group, Lloyds Banking Group, Tesco, the NHS and Local Authority community. Defying the wider industry trend, 2009 saw the business enjoy growth of 84% and was named 75th in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast-Track Top 100 Growing Companies in the UK.
The London team of ten fee-earners is headed up by Patrick Collins, who joined Timothy James Consulting from Hydrogen, with the specific aim of growing the firms presence in the London marketplace. Patrick plans to double the size of the team by the end of the year.
Patrick comments, The London office was a natural move for Timothy James Consulting relationships are at the heart of the business ethos and our aim is to build new communities of professionals to support client needs as well as drive candidate career paths.   We have grown more quickly than we anticipated but this shows that there is very much a demand for consultative recruitment solutions at a senior level here and as a team, were very excited about delivering this.
The London office of Timothy James Consulting will build on the Bristol offices full range of consultancy services, with priority markets including financial services, technology, telecoms, retail and e-commerce and renewable energies. The public sector division remains a big focus for Timothy James Consulting, with clear growth in demand for efficiency change and transformation hybrids in the challenging public climate.
As well as acting as a launch pad for national expansion, the London development demonstrates a more regionalised and segmented approach to responding to client recruitment challenges for the business.
Peter Bennett, Co-Founder of Timothy James Consulting adds, Its still early days for our London office but were delighted with the success so far. As a business, we genuinely understand the pressures facing our clients in both the public and private sectors. They need the best people, at the highest level, to take their organisations through these tough times. This is where we come in, delivering best-in-class candidates that have the talent, experience and potential to respond to the wider challenges in the market.
