Tirebuck Recruitment Gets Fit for Business

Tirebuck Recruitment Gets Fit for Business
Local businesswoman, Karen Tirebuck, Managing Director of Tirebuck Recruitment, is getting fit for business with a workout at Curves gym in Knowle, after strengthening her team with four new members of staff since January 2010.
Joining Tirebuck Recruitment as consultants are Debbie Rainbird, Clare Rock, and Vicky Burford.  Vicky, based in Stratford-upon-Avon, will be focussing on candidates in the Stratford area for the companys Allocate Recruitment business, while new addition, Helen Crisp, will be working as a trainee consultant for the company in Knowle.
Commenting on her move to Tirebuck Recruitment, Debbie Rainbird said:
I have really valued the move to a smaller company which I see as offering a boutique style of personal service which emphasises going the extra mile for clients and candidates. It is also very rewarding to be working with, and assisting, clients in the two geographical areas of Solihull and Stratford.  I joined Tirebuck because, having previously used them as a client and a candidate, I was very impressed with their level of service and the attitude of their staff.
Karen Tirebuck, Managing Director, Tirebuck Recruitment, said:
With more job losses being forecast in the region, and continued uncertainty about possible redundancies, the influx of candidates needing our help, guidance and support, has increased.
We have responded to these conditions by adding four new team members since January 2010, and are planning to organise a monthly candidate workshop, starting in the last week in September, to offer advice covering a range of topics such as CV writing and interview techniques, showing the best way of finding a job in a difficult market.  Candidates interested in attending should call me on 01564 776669 or email
With this increasing workload, and the high pressure nature of the recruitment consultancy role, I have been encouraging all my team to take advantage of our local Curves gym, and take time out of the office to take regular exercise which has been a real boost for the team.  Everyone returns to the office more energised, positive and focussed on the tasks in hand.
Talking about the business benefits of taking regular strength training, the Manager of Curves gym, Jane Payne, commented:
People who build exercise into their workday feel re-energised, calmer and more able to solve problems.  It helps to make them more productive, happier, have higher concentration levels and suffer less stress than on non-gym days.  Research has found that employees who enjoyed a workout before going to work, or exercised during lunch breaks, were better equipped to handle whatever the day threw at them.  It also found that peoples general mood improved on days of exercise, but they became less calm on non-exercise days.  Exercise during work hours has mental, as well as physical benefits.
Tirebuck Recruitment and Allocate Recruitment are divisions of KT Recruitment Ltd, based in Knowle, Solihull, and Stratford-upon-Avon. The company serves clients and candidates in the Finance, HR, Legal, Commercial, Sales & Marketing, and Executive PA sectors.
