Twenty capitalises on downturn with strong half year results
Twenty Recruitment Group, the multi-sector professional recruiter founded by Paul Marsden and Adrian Kinnersley in January 2009, the height of the recession, has reported a strong performance in the first half of 2010 with turnover just shy of 2million.
Despite launching in the midst of the recession, having realised equity from the sale of Astbury Marsden, both Adrian and I were in a great position to start a well funded business, says CEO Paul Marsden.
Twenty, which currently delivers Technology and Finance Candidates within the Financial Services, C&I and Professional Services Sectors says it is executing significant business across a portfolio of 47 clients, has contractors within 21 of those clients and has made placements in 7 countries in the first half of 2010.
Our results are a great testament to the talent and tenacity of our consultants who have gained significant market share from our competitors in a short period of time, says Adrian Kinnersley, Managing Director. Weve proved that, despite the growth of internal resourcing departments, and operating in very competitive markets, there is still a strong appetite for a quality driven recruitment process executed by people who really know their markets.
The next stage of growth for us will come from building on this great progress in Europe and also establishing Twenty in the US in the second half of the year.
