Barclays Corporate Reshapes Graduate Recruitment Scheme and Launches Dedicated Online Portal for Prospective Recruits
Barclays Corporate has announced the reshaping of its graduate recruitment programme, along with a new website dedicated to entry-level recruitment.The redesigned recruitment scheme offers graduate and intern-level employees the opportunity to develop specialist skills and experience-based learning within several critical areas of the business: client coverage, product development, operations, technology, risk management, HR, marketing and corporate communications.In 2011, Barclays Corporate will be recruiting in the region of 120 employees for its graduate programme, as well as around 50 candidates for its eight week summer internship scheme. The target candidate pool will be comprised of recent graduates representing a variety of skills sets and degree disciplines.Matt Press, Head of Human Resources at Barclays Corporate, said: Were building a strong graduate programme as we need a pipeline of talent flowing into the organisation to strengthen it and provide the leaders of tomorrow. Prospects are also provided with advice on how to apply for the graduate and summer internship schemes, which close on the 18thFebruary 2011.
